I've always loved my name. My sweet mama named me Emily, after Emily Dickinson and my Dad picked Lauren after Lauren Bacall. 

I am a true Pisces. A fish, always swimming. I love very deeply and I am an extreme empath. While I love being an empath, it's extremely draining sometimes. And that is exactly why I always try to bring humor and happiness to everyone I meet. 

I started shooting in 2007, and it wasn't until this year that I finally took a leap of faith to make this passion a stable & firm reality.

I laugh weird, but it's cool. I get super excited and prance my fingers together a lot. I love to dance and  travel. Polaroids and vinyls speak to my soul. My family is my number one always. My dogs are my kids, they are beautiful polar bears.... (Great Pyrs). My husband is super talented at everything and I can't stand it, lol. No but really, he sings like Michael Buble and I'm totally cool with it. 

I love to create beautiful art through my photographs, it's my goal every time I use my camera. I write better than I speak. If you ask me to speak in front of a crowd or on tv, I will probably have 7 panic attacks before I do. But when I do get to know someone and trust them, my guard walks off and I am extremely corny & hilarious, it's a good time. 

My style is a mixture of bright/airy & dark/romantic. I mix them both because I love them both and it really is the best of both worlds.
